After obtaining my degree in Law, I moved to London to specialize in Media Law. I started off my career as an advisor to the Flemish Minister of Media in place at that time, where I was thrown into national and international politics as a very young expert. As such, being fearless and open-minded, I entered into professional relationships with stakeholders at various levels. Consequently it was a small step to public broadcasting in which I eventually worked for over 15 years and where I held various positions. As the spokesperson to the CEO and Secretary to the Board of Directors, I created a successful communication policy. Subsequently I became responsible for the negotiations with the international studios and production houses. As a manager, I always made sure that employees could openly communicate and were given the space and opportunity to continue developing. I became acquainted with the power of coaching and was deployed as an internal coach, making me realize all the more that being successful means so much more than roaring titles and that self awareness and self-development are basic ingredients for a sustainable career. In 2015 I left the VRT to become an entrepreneur in order to fully focus on my two main interests: coaching and communication.
